媒體聯絡人： 長者法律援助中心, kfolk@laesf.org 促進公義 - 亞洲法律聯會, media@advancingjustice-alc.org 為了維護三藩市市民的住房權利和獲得充分翻譯服務的權利，並讓租客能不受騷擾和歧視地安居樂業，移民租客們身先士卒參與了長達數年的抗爭 里程碑式的庭外和解傳遞了問責訊號，呼籲三藩市的房東們給予低收入住客應有的尊重   三藩市 — 全城逐漸意識到市內極度缺乏可負擔住房，使越來越多租客被迫組織起來維護自身權利，而八位居住在仕德頓街1350號和百老匯街371號的華埠散房（SRO）租客，以及社區住客聯會（CTA）共同贏得了史無前例的庭外和解，維護了自身租客權益，讓租客們能在有「家」感覺的大樓和社區中平靜安寧地生活。在促進公義 - 亞洲法律聯會（Advancing Justice - Asian Law Caucus）、長者法律援助中心（Legal Assistance to the Elderly）和擔任公益法律顧問的全球律師事務所「瑞格 （Ropes & Gray）」 的共同協助下，一小群低收入華裔移民租客，除一人外其餘皆為長者，團結一致伸張了正義，讓租客們不再受來自於三藩市大型散房物業管理公司的歧視和騷擾，得以繼續住在受租金管制已久的單位。 於八月達成的庭外和解協議內容包括，被告方Samantha Seto、Kelvin ...
