We are delighted to announce Anni Chung, President and Chief Executive Officer of Self-Help for the Elderly, as our 2026 Community Ally Honoree at our 47th Anniversary Celebration.

Since 1981, Anni has led Self-Help for the Elderly, growing the organization into a comprehensive service provider that supports more than 55,000 seniors annually with culturally responsive health, housing, nutrition, transportation, and other essential services across five Bay Area counties. A lifelong advocate for older adults, immigrants, and the Asian and Pacific Islander community, she has served in numerous civic leadership roles and was honored with the Metta Fund’s 2024 Leadership Award for her decades of service. Through more than 40 years of leadership, Anni has helped shape a model of aging services rooted in dignity, independence, and community care, strengthening the lives of thousands of older adults.
