This Giving Tuesday We Honor the International Day of Persons with Disabilities

While the warmth of Thanksgiving is still in the air, we are deeply thankful for your support this year. As the season of giving continues, today, we not only celebrate Giving Tuesday, a global movement of generosity and social impact, but also the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD). This day is an opportunity to honor the strength of those we serve, and reaffirm our commitment to building a more just and inclusive world for all.

Every day, the Legal Assistance to the Elderly (LAE) team works tirelessly to defend the rights of seniors and adults with disabilities—whether it’s keeping them in their homes, securing their healthcare, or shielding them from financial exploitation or abuse. This year, with your support, we provided life-changing legal assistance to over 2,000 clients, helping seniors and adults with disabilities stay independent and age with dignity.

This Giving Tuesday and IDPD, we invite you to join LAE in delivering The Gift of Justice & Inclusion to seniors and adults with disabilities across San Francisco.
