Charlie Heinz (She/Her)

Charlie Heinz serves Legal Assistance to the Elderly as Executive Coordinator & Communications, where she works to support the Executive Director, Board and Admin team, as well as handles external communications and design. Charlie comes to LAE from a career in corporate content marketing and enjoys lending her talents and expertise to supporting LAE’s important work, which is close to her heart. 

Charlie holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins in London. While there, she volunteered as a sewing teacher for Somali and Bangladeshi refugees and ran a youth meditation group in South London for teens. After London, Charlie volunteered for two years at a Buddhist retreat center, where she began designing print collateral. At the heart of Charlie’s work is a deep belief that communities thrive when people take care of one another. 

In her free time, Charlie enjoys hiking, writing, making art, watching black-and-white movies, and thrifting for cool vintage clothes with her kid.
