Barbara Lam
Barbara Lam is a supervising attorney at Legal Assistance to the Elderly who has focused her legal work in landlord-tenant and housing law litigation. She has practiced law in California since 2015 and has represented and counseled hundreds of clients, brokering successful resolutions to save the homes of many seniors, low-income families, and persons with disabilities. Barbara prides herself in providing effective, pragmatic counsel to her clients in a complex area of law that is fraught with emotions for tenants. Before joining LAE, Barbara was a litigator at the Eviction Defense Collaborative and in a former life, a corporate tax accountant. A University of Michigan Law School graduate, Barbara feels fortunate to call the Bay Area her home now. She is always happy to chat about culinary delights, comedy, and current market events.
