Our Services

We prepare End-of-Life Planning documents for any of our eligible clients. Depending on your situation, you will likely benefit from some combination of these documents: Will, Trust, Revocable Transfer on Death Deed, Power of Attorney, Designation of Beneficiary, or Advanced Health Care Directive.

Establishing an end-of-life plan is an important step in ensuring your wishes are kept a top priority, even if you are not able to advocate for them. Documents like wills, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives offer you and your loved ones peace of mind, eliminating uncertainty in delicate stages of life.

Our team of compassionate professionals will take the time to understand your needs and create a plan that works for you. We always put our clients first.

What We Help With

Legal Assistance to the Elderly can help, free of charge. Regardless of your financial situation, attorneys from LAE will help prepare:

  • Wills that designate an executor, beneficiaries for your belongings, and identify your burial preferences.
  • Advance Healthcare Directives that authorize an agent of your choosing to make healthcare decisions on your behalf if you are unable.
  • Financial Powers of Attorney that authorize an agent of your choosing to manage your financial affairs if you are unable.
  • Trusts for clients that own at most one residential property in San Francisco in which they currently reside.
  • In addition, and in partnership with the AIDS Legal Referral Panel (ALRP), we provide services specifically tailored to the needs of LGBTQ elders.

The sooner you take action, the sooner you take control of your future.
