COVID-19 Update
The San Francisco Department of Public Health has declared a Local Health Emergency regarding novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The current recommendations from the Department of Public Health call for vulnerable populations to avoid all gatherings of 10 people or more. Vulnerable populations include:
-
- people 60 years old and older
- people with health conditions such as heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, kidney disease and weakened immune systems
Because all of our clients fall within the high risk group for COVID-19 we have implemented the following policies:
Please do not drop into our office.
We are conducting most client appointments over the phone.
You will not be seen at our office unless you have an appointment.
Existing clients
If you are an existing client, please contact your advocate directly for assistance.
If you do not know your advocate’s direct phone number or email, please call the front desk at (415) 538-3333 and press 1 for a list of employee extensions.
Contact information is also available online here.
New clients
During this Public Health Emergency we continue to provide services to new clients. If you are a new client, please leave a message at (415) 538-3333 and we will return the call as soon as we are able. We are prioritizing the following issues:
-
- evictions
- notices to cut or terminate benefits
- notices terminating rental subsidies
- restraining orders to protect seniors
We will update this message if our policies change or we have to close our office due to COVID-19.
