Sarah Abelow

Sarah Abelow is a member of LAE’s eviction defense team. Sarah received her J.D. from University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in May 2022, where she earned a Public Interest and Social Justice Certificate. During law school, she interned with the East Bay Community Law Center, Legal Assistance to the Elderly, East Bay Family Defenders, and Pregnancy Justice. Before law school, Sarah worked as a program officer at a progressive foundation supporting human rights organizations and movements in the United States and Latin America.

Sarah is proud to work with LAE’s clients on their housing cases, and to continue advocating for racial, economic, and gender justice.
