Yue Hui (Amy) Li is an intake paralegal at Legal Assistance to the Elderly. She assists LAE clients who are facing housing, public benefits, and elder abuse issues. Her passion in aiding the vulnerable emerges from experiencing poverty, prejudice, and social injustice.
Amy received her BA in Psychology from UC Davis and worked in autism research at the MIND Institute. She has volunteered for various non-profits in animal welfare and prison reform and is currently a part of the Orange Patrol Team in Chinatown, Oakland. Her therapeutic outlets include JDM car modification, cooking, and tattoos.
