Prior to joining LAE, Margaret worked at Tenderloin Housing Clinic’s Law Office as a staff attorney, where she represented low-income tenants in all aspects of landlord-tenant and housing law. Margaret defended tenants facing eviction and litigated numerous affirmative lawsuits to address substandard housing conditions, tenant harassment, and wrongful eviction.
Margaret earned her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law with a Certificate in Public Interest Law with Honors. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Missouri State University.
